This Catholic men’s book club meets once a month in Rockville, Maryland and welcomes men from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church as well as nearby parishes. The group gathers in a relaxed, conversational environment to read and discuss books that strengthen the mind, deepen the faith, and spark meaningful conversation among Catholic men. Each month, the meeting is hosted at a different member’s home, creating a warm, personal setting that helps everyone get to know one another.
Meeting Time: Once a month
Schedule: The day of the week rotates between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to accommodate different calendars and family commitments.
Time: 8:00–10:00 p.m.
Each meeting begins with prayer, followed by an open discussion of the month’s book. The conversation is thoughtful, welcoming, and engaging, with men sharing insights, asking questions, and reflecting on how the material applies to daily Catholic life. Around 5–6 men typically attend each gathering, which keeps the group intimate and ensures everyone has a chance to participate.
This group is active throughout the entire year and offers a consistent opportunity for Catholic men to grow intellectually and spiritually while building lasting friendships. Whether you are an avid reader or someone simply looking for good conversation and fraternity, you will find a welcoming circle of men ready to walk with you in faith.
